As a Student, you are surrounded by a network of support. Most schools have offices devoted to providing tools, resources and support to students. Seeking help or information, is the first step!

Finding Help on Campus

Career Services

Need help finding an internship? Not sure how to begin a cover letter? Campus Career Services are a great resource to utilize in every year of school. From exploring career paths to practicing interview skills, Career services can help you find the right path. Go early and go often!

Counseling

Many college students report feeling stressed on a daily basis. No matter the contributing factors, there are professionals that can help you! You are not alone. Seek help or talk to someone-your mental health is a priority!

Tutoring and/or Writing Center

So assignments are hard. Maybe that thesis is giving you a hard time or you're having trouble grasping numbers. Whatever the issue is, getting the most out of this FREE resource is important!

Office of Multicultural Affairs

The role of this office is to promote and support diversity and equity on campus. For those who identify as first-generation, students of color, or LGBTQIA, there are offices to help connect you to the existing community of campus, advocate your needs, or provide a safe space.

Health Services

As a human being, you will inevitably need health services at some point. Whether it be an injury, routine check-up or illness- health services are there. Make sure you know where the center is, how to book an appointment, its hours and emergency plans should they not open.

Now you know these offices exist-how do you go about utilizing them? Most of the time, it's easy. The first step is gaining information. Resources vary from campus to campus-which resources are you offered and where?

Once that's figured out, the next step is to visit,set up an appointment or email so you can receive the services you deserve!
